

How do I get there?
Daily Studios is located just 300ft from New Street Railway Station in Birmingham City Centre, so it’s a breeze to get to from across the Midlands and beyond. Your nearest bus stops are on Station Street (stops NC8, NC9 and NC10), just 2 minutes’ walk away.

We are on the second and third floors of Cherry Reds Café. We have a separate entrance on Lower Severn Street. The address is:

Are the studios suitable for sound recording?
The studios aren’t soundproofed so can’t be used for music recording, although do provide a quiet environment suitable for recording most podcasts and interviews. If you intend to record sound, we recommend avoiding weekends and evenings due to potential ambient sound from nearby. The Studio Suite provides the most isolated sound.
What is the best contact for the studio?

Is the venue accessible?
Unfortunately due to the age of the building, the studios can only be accessed by stairs. If you have any other queries about access requirements please let us know when booking.
Can I park nearby?
Absolutely. Your nearest parking options are Town Hall Car Park (the “red cage”), NCP Birmingham New Street, the Mailbox Car Park, and Grand Central/New Street Station - all within 4 minutes’ walk. If you need direct access to the studios to drop off equipment or products, let us know when you book and we can arrange drop-off.
Is there anywhere to eat nearby?
You are spoiled for choice! We are based on the buzzing John Bright Street right in the heart of Birmingham City Centre, above independent café bar Cherry Reds and with Turtle Bay, Brew Dog, The Stable and The Railway pub right on the doorstep. Sainsbury’s and Tamatanga are a minute’s walk away, or for even more options it’s just a 90-second walk to Birmingham New Street Station/Grand Central.
Is there WIFI?
Yes, of course. Free wifi is available for the duration of your booking.
Are there toilets?
Yes, toilets are available to use on the second floor. These are shared with the building.
Can I book extra time at the end of my booking if needed?
If the room you've booked is available, this is usually possible.
If you need to extend your booking in advance, contact us by email at hello@dailystudios with the details. We'll update your booking and send a link where you can make any additional payment needed. If you need to extend your booking whilst on site, please let a member of the team know as soon as possible so we can check if the additional time is available. We'll take contactless payment onsite for any additional time.
What is the minimum booking time?
Our minimum slot time is 2 hours.
What is included in my studio hire?
Your hire booking gives you access to your chosen space for the duration of time booked, and doesn't include any set up or take down time, so please account for this in your total booking time.
The equipment available depends on which space you have hired; equipment lists can be found on the studios pages.
Please note that a photographer/camera is not included in studio hire, so you will need to bring your own, or check out our photoshoot options.
Do you have paper backdrops?
Yes! We currently have white, beige, light blue, and light pink. However, please contact us before hand if you have a specific requirement and we will see if we can accommodate this for you.
Do you have a steamer and a clothing rail?
Yes, we have a clothes steamer as well as a clothing rail available, along with hangers.
